If you’re a massage fan like me, Taiwan is the place to be!
Massages here are affordable, and the therapists are incredibly skilled. For this trip to Taiwan, I set a personal goal to get a massage every day. My husband was all for it, too – we both absolutely loved the experience! Here’s our review of Zaichun Healthy Living Center, a highly-rated spa in Taipei where we enjoyed both foot and full-body massages.

1. Location: Close to Zhongshan Station
Zaichun Healthy Living Center is conveniently located near Zhonghan Station and close to the Zhongshan Cafe Street area. It’s super accessible if you’re staying near Taipei Main Station or Ximending. I’d recommend making this your first-day relaxation spot – it’s perfect for unwinding after a long flight or a day of sightseeing.
2. Booking & Pricing: Great Deals via Travel Platforms
One of the best parts? You can book Zaichun Healthy Living Center through travel platforms that often offer exclusive discounts – KKday, for instance, has a special discount for Zaichun right now. We used the app to pick our time and massage package, then paid right on the platform at a great rate. If you’re interested, I’d suggest checking for deals before you go to snag the best price.
Once we arrived, it was easy to check in. The reception area was spacious, bustling with individual guests and tour groups alike. This place is well-known, so it’s popular with everyone, from solo travelers to large groups. Just show the QR code from your app, and you’re all set – super smooth!
3. Our Experience Taiwan Massage
After a short wait, we were given hot tea (and this wasn’t the only time – they served tea before, during, and after the massage!). We’d booked the 90-minute package that included a foot massage and a full-body session. After changing, we started with a foot soak, letting the warm water ease away the day’s aches. It was raining outside, so sitting there with a warm tea and a foot bath was bliss.
During the foot massage, I noticed Zaichun has a unique approach. They explain which areas of discomfort in your feet may correlate with issues in your body. I don’t believe everything literally, but they’re onto something! My therapist mentioned my hips seemed tense, which makes sense given my desk job and all the sitting. Honestly, they nailed it – and it was reassuring knowing they’re so skilled at targeting problem areas.
Once the foot massage wrapped up, we moved to a private room for the full-body session. Since we’re a couple, we shared the same room, with curtains for privacy. My husband and I both found the massage incredibly satisfying – I could feel all my tension melting away, especially in my back and shoulders.
If you’re planning a Taiwan trip, I recommend exploring Zhongshan Café Street and enjoying a Taiwanese massage as part of your travel itinerary.
Don’t miss the chance to experience a massage – especially a foot massage. Zaichun Healthy Living Center specializes in reflexology, and their pressure-point technique is impressive. Given how popular this spot is, though, I highly recommend booking in advance. It was one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip – relaxing, restorative, and a perfect way to dive into the local wellness culture!
